New with Test Flight 1.535 (Tuesday Jan 28)
These are the new changes uploaded in the latest TestFlight build Tuesday night
Opposing user should appear on the map during pickup and on the way
Map will frame around their location, your location and pickup point during enRoute and pickup
If you switch your location sharing away from "Always allow" while "available"" an "full stop" screen appears until you change it back.
When selecting children or helpers, added a "done" button at the bottom to make the process feel improves the flow of the selection process.
When selecting villagers, you can tap the whole row rather then just the small checkbox area
Selecting villajers have a haptic feedback
Slide to cancel request (Hopefully will reduce the amount of accidentally cancelled requests)
Babysitting, dog walking etc, have custom icons on the map that match the job service. (a baby, paw print, etc)
A map button folds and unfolds the map
Haptic impacts on menu items
There is an added availability check for "always allow". This requires location sharing to be set to "always allow". There are two variations of this screen. One in the availability checkist and another version that blocks the app from continuing if location is switched off.
Both screens deeplink into settings for Villaj and steps to turn it back on.
Release notes for sprint 1.5
Redesigned map which tracks user movements of you and the helper or hirer (The opposing party).
You and the other party can be viewed on the map during the "en route" and "Pickup" stages of filling the request.
Onboarding screen appears after signup. This demands you're in the peninsula bubble before completing signup. This avoids people in other areas from signing up.
A valid invite code will bypass being in bubble, and allow us personally to invite people outside of it.
Before becoming available, you have to complete the following checklist items:
Location Services must be set to "always allow"
Payment (Venmo) Info must be entered
You must add auto information
You must upload your license
Your license must be a rumson/FH address (or obtain an invite code)
If under 17, you revert to helper verifications only
A copy of your blurred license is stored for hirers to view
You can enter multiple vehicles and switch between them
Main menu screens have haptic feedback on button presses
Requesting a service
You can now add a pickup location by using the map rather than searching for an address (Helpful in large areas like a school or stadium)
Riders are no longer optional to enter
While filling requests
You can view the auto information (Make Color, license plate)
Helpers can switch between car profiles
Haptic buttons now have a "feel" when pressed
You can "unfold" the map to make it larger
Before pickup, hirers can refine their pickup spot using the map and it automatically updates the helper with the new pickup location
